His background in studying ancient religious texts and mythology informs his work—particularly his fascination with the Nephilim, the fallen angels, and the hidden architecture of spiritual warfare woven through scripture. Fallen Darkness is his debut novel and the first in an eight-book series that asks a deceptively simple question: What if the barriers between Heaven, Hell, and Earth were thinner than we believed? What if ordinary people had to choose between damnation and redemption when the veil finally tore? Farmer believes that the best horror isn’t about jump scares—it’s about the collision between what we believe and what we discover to be true. His work explores redemption, free will, and the terrible weight of cosmic responsibility through characters forced to become guardians of realities they never asked to protect. He lives in the foothills of North Carolina, where he continues writing the Shadows of Illumination series and exploring the dark spaces where faith and fear intersect.
